God Is A God Of Miracles
Hello Everyone!
So it's been a while, but I am still alive! We had a hard few weeks at the beginning of this transfer. All people that were progressing suddenly just stopped keeping commitments, and our teaching pool fell down to 0. However, this week we had a bunch of miracles! We were having trouble bringing people to church, and then out of nowhere, 2 people that we've never met before showed up to church 2 Sundays ago. We were really excited and marked lessons with them so that we could meet them later and begin to teach them and hopefully help them gain their own testimonies. Both of them are super awesome, but the absolute golden miracle was Jocinda.
When we went to her house, Jocinda had already read Joseph Smith's testimony, so we explained to her the restoration of the Church of Christ and had a great lesson. She invited us to come back the next day so we could teach her husband and all her kids, which we were happy to do! During that second lesson, while we were talking about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, she asked us how she could be baptized. A member that was with us explained it a bit, and then we decided to make a goal for a baptism date. So Jocinda and 3 of her kids are all super excited for their baptisms, and we couldn't be more thankful for God preparing the hearts of this family to hear His word.
I am super thankful for all the miracles God has given me this week and in my life as a whole. Small things, from finding energy to keep teaching lessons to help someone grow just a little bit closer to God when I'm so tired I could drop dead, to huge miracles like finding a wonderful, kind family that wants to grow closer to God. I hope all of y'all can see the miracles in your lives this week.
I hope you have a wonderful week this week!
